Larissa Sambudi: how to make an angel pop up card O:)

- things that you need:

Construction paper or heavy or card stock paper
Ruler
Glue
Ballpoint pen without ink in it (optional)
Scissors
Art supplies of choice to decorate finished card

- how to make it:

1.Click here to get the image and print out the full sized version of the image on a heavy paper, like card stock or construction paper.

2. Click and print the image on the right in a similar manner on card stock or construction paper.

3. Press along the dotted lines of all the pop-up pieces with the rounded end of a paper clip (or aballpoint pen that has run out of ink), using a ruler as a guide.

4. Press along the dotted line on the center of the card with the rounded end of a paper clip (or a ballpoint pen that has run out of ink), again using aruler as a guide. Go all the way from the top to the bottom of the card.

5. Cut out the pop-up pieces for the angel following the solid, black lines.

6. Cut out the angel's card by following the solid, black lines.

7. Take hold of the tab on the left side of the piece that has the angel's head...

8. Fold the tab up towards the angel's body. Return the tab back in its original position.

9. Take hold of the tab on the other piece...

10. Fold the tab up towards the angel's body. Return the tab to its original position.

11. Position both pieces as shown. The piece with the angel's head should be on top and the wings of both pieces should be pointing back, away from you.

12. Combine the pieces. As they intersect the angel's hands should be coming towards you and the wings should be pointing back, away from you.

13. Fold the card in half along the center fold line. Crease well, then open again.

14. Apply glue to the areas marked "glue here."

15. Take hold of the tab at lower left and position it over the glue area. Press the tab firmly onto the glue area. Let the glue set for 30 seconds.

16. Lift the angel's dress on the right side a little so you can get to the tab at the lower right. Position the tab over the glue area and press it firmly down.
